Coronavirus Protection Plan

We can’t wait for the day when we can welcome you back to Essential Therapie and want our salons to be somewhere you can relax and feel safe, so we have introduced some new safety, hygiene and distancing measures.

Pre-appointment

Please book your appointment prior to arriving at the salon by using our online booking app or email us your treatment request. No walk in appointments will be accepted.

We are kindly asking clients not to make an appointment if you have experienced any cold or flu like symptoms in the last 14 days or if you have been in contact with anyone with cold or flu like symptoms in the last 14 days.

When making a booking we will require full name, email and mobile telephone number for track and trace purposes.

If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice. As we will be leaving a gap time between every client, to fully sanitise each area, we have fewer appointment slots available throughout the day. 

On Arrival

Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment time, ring the bell and wait to be let into the salon. Prompt arrival is appreciated, as we have to leave a gap time between every client, to fully sanitise the area and ensure we do not exceed the maximum number of clients allowed in the salon at one time. Late arrival will result in a reduced treatment time.

We ask that you wear a face mask and arrive alone for your appointment. Please limit the amount of personal items that you bring with you. All items will be placed into a sealed container for the duration of your appointment; including mobile phones.

Please use hand sanitiser upon entering the salon.

Please observe social distancing guidelines throughout the salon.

Appointments

We’ve added additional time to all appointments, to ensure areas can be cleaned and sanitised between clients and staggered appointment times to ensure social distancing.

No magazines will be available at this time.

All personal items will be placed into a sealed container that will be kept with you for the duration of the appointment; including mobile phones. 

Appropriate PPE will be worn by therapists for your appointment.

Training has been completed to ensure all of our team members care for clients in a safe, hygienic manner.

Payments will be cashless, so please bring your bank card or contactless payment.

All staff have completed the industry accredited Barbicide COVID-19 Hygiene Certification course.

Appointment times will be staggered to ensure a limited amount of clients are in the salon at any one time.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available from reception. Vouchers can be redeemed against a variety of treatments and products. Please note that vouchers are non refundable and are valid for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Appointments can be made by telephone or via our 24/7 live booking app. To make a booking we will require credit card details to secure your appointment.

If you arrive late for an appointment we will do everything we can to accommodate you but your treatment time may have to be reduced to avoid disrupting other clients.

We request a minimum of 24 hours notice or a charge of 50% of the treatment cost will be required, if we cannot allocate your booking to another client. Non attendance will be charged in full. Unfortunately no future bookings will be accepted if outstanding cancellation fees are unpaid.
